Since I can’t find my original blog post, I will just have to do another one. It was about this time last year that I was interviewed on the John Brislin Show out of Las Vegas. Since I was part of the show on Syrian refugees, my interview didn’t start until about 37:27 and lasted for about ten minutes.
We cover Chinese reactions to me and how my paradigm of China was changed after I arrived there. He asked about teaching English when I don’t know Chinese and immersing oneself in the Chinese culture. We covered why Chinese spend more time in school learning English and that they start at an early age learning English.
Overall, I enjoyed the Interview, and while he asks some tough questions, I thought it went well, being both entertaining and educational at the same time.
